- The candidate will be participating in the design and development of cutting-edge infrastructure, systems, and applications (both client and server side) used to provide streamlined and revenue-generating services to our clients, examples of which include:
- Factor-based optimizers and advanced risk analytics
- State-of-the art pricing tools to expand business activity in new products
- Real time index rebalancing trading platforms
- Proficiency in functional & object-oriented programming, ideally Python (but strong experience in other object-oriented languages would also be considered). Knowledge of web app development (ENAML) and scripting language (Javascript/ReactJS) is a plus.
- Solid background in data structures and algorithms
- Some experience with applying statistics and machine learning techniques to solve problems would be beneficial (some quantitative finance & derivative pricing knowledge is also useful but not strictly required)
- Some knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, KDB/q and Unix programming would be a plus
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a fluent and articulate manner, adapting to audiences at different levels
- Entrepreneurial and rigorous mindset, coupled to outstanding problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated with independent thinking, and a quick learner that can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
